About the Points
Members competing in NEBCA sanctioned novice or open trials earn points based on their performance. Points are tallied over the season and, in the novice classes, over a dog’s career . Points are used to:
- Qualify for the Novice Finals.
- Qualify for the Fall Foliage Championship and High Points Competition
- Graduate from a novice class (lifetime points)
The formula for assigning points is described in the Novice Trial Guidelines and the High Points Competition rules. Trial managers are responsible for submitting the results to the NEBCA Trial Points Keeper who enters them in the Trial Points database.
