NEBCA owns heavy duty black snow fence and posts that can be used at trials for a physical or visual barrier. The fencing has typically been used at the supply or exhaust pens. Its more work to setup than electronet but provides a better deterrent to stop sheep.
The NEBCA trial equipment rental fee is $30 for all of the equipment and $20 for the use of partial equipment payable to the NEBCA Treasurer. The list of available equipment is below and will be both the yahoo list and the website.
Please contact the equipment coordinator Rose Redick at roser@aol.com or 518-465-6808 if you are interested in renting the equipment. Rose will be able to let you know where the equipment is located. The renter will need to make arrangements with whoever has the equipment for pickup, storage or return. Also let Rose know that the equipment has been returned where it is located and payment sent to the Treasurer.
