The First Sheepdog Trial in North America
The attached document is from the November 1929 Purdue Agriculturalist publication. Whether first or not, who would have guessed a sheepdog trial was held so long ago, let alone in Bennington, Vermont. Interestingly, one of the competitors, Preston Davenport, who passed away in 1983, was an early NEBCA member.

NEBCA Beginnings
